Glen Briscoe is a Senior Project Manager who has been part of the Intera team for 9 years. Mr. Briscoe received a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph, and is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario. Mr. Briscoe has extensive experience in the performance and management of Phase I, II and III Environmental Site Assessments, remediation of contaminated sites and hydrogeological site characterization. Mr. Briscoe has completed several investigations and remediation programs for sites contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and solvents. Successful remedial programs have been completed at several sites with various technologies utilized including monitored natural attenuation, pump & treat systems, injection of oxidizing compounds for the remediation of chlorinated solvents and hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater. Mr. Briscoe has also provided support for active and historic waste disposal sites including site operations, hydrogeological assessments and environmental monitoring reporting.
A significant component of Mr. Briscoe’s current work is to contribute to the completion of the Phase 2 Geological Site Characterization Program underway at the Bruce Nuclear Site in Kincardine, Ontario.
